The galleass "HAABET" from Holbæk from 1906 leaves an impressive trace in the history books, which is documented in the ship's inspection book that has followed the ship since 1906.

HAABET has been continuously maintained, and modernizations and upgrades have been carried out in order to preserve the ship's soul. HAABET therefore presents itself as a very well-maintained traditional Galease from 1906 with modern equipment such as chart plotter, AIS, autopilot, wind indicator, bow thruster, electric windlass, echo sounder with fishfinder and electric heating by shore power etc.

HAABET was built at Kikhavn in 1906, where it sailed for a local fishing skipper from Hundested. Later on, HAABET was used to buy fresh fish, which was sold in Copenhagen. From 1916 to 1918, HAABET was the first ferry to sail between Rørvig and Hundested using sails and a small 7 HP engine.

Between World War I and World War II, HAABET transported fruit and vegetables from the Danish islands to the capital. The ship was then used as a supply ship in the Øresund when the ship supply company N. P. Winding supplied the larger ships in transit with fresh goods. During World War II, the ship was confiscated by the Germans, but was then returned and the damage repaired with the help of the Danish state.

HAABET is built and furnished according to the wishes of a modern family, such as a pantry with oven, refrigerator, hot and cold pressurized water and a separate toilet with shower. The ship also has berths for at least 4 people.

HAABET jest regularnie konserwowany, a podczas modernizacji i ulepszeń zawsze dbano o to, by zachować jego duszę. Dzięki temu HAABET prezentuje się jako bardzo zadbana, tradycyjna galera z 1906 roku, wyposażona w nowoczesne urządzenia, takie jak ploter nawigacyjny, AIS, autopilot, wiatrowskaz, ster strumieniowy, elektryczna winda kotwiczna, echosonda z wykrywaczem ryb oraz ogrzewanie elektryczne zasilane z lądu itp.

HAABET został zbudowany w Kikhavn w 1906 roku, gdzie pływał dla lokalnego rybaka z Hundested. Później HAABET służył do skupu świeżych ryb, które sprzedawano w Kopenhadze. W latach 1916–1918 HAABET pływał jako pierwszy prom między Rørvig a Hundested, wykorzystując żagle oraz mały silnik o mocy 7 KM.

W okresie między pierwszą a drugą wojną światową HAABET przewoził owoce i warzywa z duńskich wysp do stolicy. Potem statek służył jako zaopatrzeniowiec w cieśninie Øresund, kiedy firma zaopatrzeniowa N. P. Winding dostarczała świeże towary większym statkom w tranzycie. Podczas II wojny światowej statek został skonfiskowany przez Niemców, ale potem zwrócono go, a uszkodzenia naprawiono z pomocą państwa duńskiego.

HAABET został zbudowany i urządzony zgodnie z życzeniami nowoczesnej rodziny, np. z kuchnią wyposażoną w piekarnik, lodówkę, ciepłą i zimną wodę pod ciśnieniem oraz oddzielną toaletę z prysznicem. Statek ma też miejsca do spania dla co najmniej 4 osób.
