Der One Tonner war das erste Designauftrag für den damaligen jungen
Yachtkonstrukteur Ron Holland. In dem neu gegründeten
Yachtkonstruktionsbüro in Cork wurden die Pläne für den damaligen Eigner
gezeichnet. Der Erfolg dieses IOR- One Tonners war die Grundlage für den
beruflichen Erfolg von Ron Holland. Es folgten viele weitere erfolgreiche und
bekannte IOR- Yachten aus seiner Feder.

• Gebaut wurde die Yacht in der Bauwerft: South Coast Boatyard in Cork
• In drei Lagen Mahagoni auf Stringern verleimt- West System
• Im Bug befindet sich eine große Doppelkoje
• Extra abschliessbarer WC Raum, wurde nachträglich liebevoll in Holz hochwertig eingebaut
• Im Salon befinden sich 2 Kojen
• Und an Steuerbord, achtern ist noch eine große Lotsenkoje
• Großer Navigationstisch an dem auch der Plotter eingebaut ist
• Die Pantry befindet sich an Backbord gleich neben dem Niedergang
• Zahlreiche Stau- und Ablagemöglichkeiten sind vorhanden
• Zwei- Flammiger Spiritus Kocher

• Originalzeichnungen sind noch vorhanden
• Die Yacht stand bei dem Voreigner von 2015 bis 2022 in der Halle
• Teakdeck wurde 2010 erneuert- sehr guter Zustand inklusive der Nähte
• Dieseltank in Kunststoff & 2x neue Wassertanks (Flextanks) neu in 2025
• WC und die gesamten Wasserleitung erneuert

The One Tonner was the first design commission for the then young yacht designer
