Boston Whaler BOSTON 305 CONQUEST, EUR 88,000
A look at the Boston Whaler 305 Conquest confirms its many interesting features. The engine mounting area, including all cables, piping and linkages, is tidy and easily accessible.
Three rod holders are recessed into the transom, three more adorn each side of the cockpit, and a further five "rod holders" are positioned on the trailing edge of the T-Top.
As if that were not enough, this boat is also equipped with outriggers, which allow you to deploy the lines offshore, like on a mini trawler.
Of course, with all these rods, you'll need plenty of space for anglers. Thankfully, the 305 Conquest's expansive cockpit offers a whopping 58 square feet of space, while its super-buoyant foam core means that even when submerged in a rogue wave, it stays afloat with a payload of up to 1,190kg, equivalent to 14 people or a large amount of fish!
At the stern is a deep bait tub on the port side and a deck shower on the right side. There are three more hatches in the cockpit floor.
The first and largest of these is accessible by folding the aft bench and houses the boat's batteries, a life raft and a pump for the water supply system that feeds the two live tanks (floodable lockers to keep the fish alive) located under the other two hatches.
Behind the helm station is what we would normally call a wet bar, but in the case of the Boston Whaler 305 Conquest it is perhaps more appropriate to describe it as a bait preparation area. Under the sink is a locker with pull-out drawers, designed for storing fishing tackle.
