Everitt 29, designed by Dick Everitt and built by Winsor Yachts, Classic British Cruiser with Offshore
Capability is a well-regarded British cruising yacht that combines solid offshore performance with comfortable
accommodation. Introduced in the late 1970s and still admired today, the 1982 model represents a mature example of
this proven design.
Built in GRP (glass-reinforced plastic), the Everitt 29 features a moderate-displacement hull, fin-and-skeg underbody,
and masthead sloop rig, providing reassuring handling, excellent directional stability, and forgiving sailing
characteristics.

Purchased 04-08- 2023 and refurbishment started around February 2024. This is the second time this British owner has owned the yacht so had a pretty good idea what was needed and concluded that the refit would need to-be general and thorough, a refit from the keel up. The process of the refit was, at the owners discretion and carried out mainly by, Sailand, company based at Lefkas Marina. Major items detailed below;
1. First, the Hull below the water line was stripped and re-epoxyed. New bronze skin fittings and relevant pipe work fitted below the waterline, high quality, nylon skin fittings and pipe work above the waterline. Cockpit professionally respray. new bushes fitted to rudder.
2. The Volvo engine was removed to the engineers workshop for a high level rebuild reinstalled together with a new engine control panel, as well as a new gear selection and speed panel. Also shaft and rudder bearings replaced, and general parts replaced as required.
3. manual bilge pump service kit fitted
4. 2 new Batteries supplied and fitted together with a new charger.
5. Gas valve, cooker, and gas supply line replaced.
6. fridge unit replaced.
7. Toilet overhauled, new service kit and holding tank fitted.
8. internal hull fittings and pipe work replaced where necessary.
9. Genoa furling system and wind direction indicator replaced and installed by waypoint on site specialist
10. cockpit Bimini cover and sprayhood replaced.
11. sails maintained and refitted together with a visual inspection of running rigging and stainless standing rigging by Waypoint located on site.
12. inflatable two man dinghy as new.
13. 3 fire extinguishers, 2 life vests, flare kit unused
14. Electric anchor winch fitted by the previous owner before delivery as new.
15. Clipper Instruments fitted in the boat, depth, working, speed and wind direction to be commissioned.
16. VHF radio, Sony, radio, battery capacity indicator, automatic bilge pump, working as required.
