SeaStorm 14 HDPE Black – Electric Center Console Boat is a rotomoulded polyethylene day boat for lakes, rivers and sheltered coastal water. It is the kind of boat people buy when they want something simple, tough and ready to use: a walkaround centre console with a windscreen, an open deck and seating fore and aft, rather than a cabin cruiser. Families use it for swimming trips and towing the kids around, anglers like the clear deck and the standing room beside the console, and owners of a summer house on the water keep one as an everyday runabout.

SeaStorm builds its hulls by rotational moulding, so the boat comes out of the mould in one piece of UV-stabilised HDPE instead of being laminated from layers of glass and resin. That matters in daily use more than it sounds. Polyethylene shrugs off the knocks that leave gelcoat cracked and chalky — dock edges, rocky shorelines, a trailer roller in the wrong place, a winter spent outdoors. The double-skin construction with the deck bonded to the hull gives the boat its stiffness and its reserve buoyancy, and the hull shape, drawn by the Mannerfeldt design team, is what makes this size of boat run quietly and stay settled when a chop builds up. The cockpit is self-draining, which is one less thing to think about after rain or a wet run home.

The drivetrain here is electric: a Momentum Marine outboard on the transom, controlled from the console. On a boat used for short hops, fishing and family cruising, that changes the character of the day out — no fuel smell, no engine noise drowning conversation, no fuel to carry or store. It also suits the growing number of lakes, rivers and inland reservoirs across Europe where combustion engines are restricted or banned outright, and where an electric boat is simply the only way to be on the water under power.

With a draft of just 0.22 m the boat goes where deeper hulls have to turn back — over sandbars, into reed-lined bays, up to a shallow beach or a low jetty. At 260 kg the hull is light enough to be handled behind a small car on a light trailer and launched by two people at a public ramp, so it can live at home in the garage and follow you to a different lake each weekend. CE certification covers category C with five people on board and category D with six.

This is a new 2026 unit in black, available immediately, priced at 15 900 €. It comes with the steering console and wheel, windscreen, the full cushion set with backrests at bow, midships and stern, a side grab rail, steering cable and the outboard mounting, and the price includes transport from the yard to Gdańsk. The boat can be built up further with a bimini top in stainless steel or aluminium, a sun deck, a bathing ladder, rod holders, navigation lights, a Garmin Striker Vivid 9SV sounder, a Clarion audio system, a shore connection with charger, covers, a harbour package and an adjustable light trailer, and the upholstery can be ordered in a different colour.
