Hull:
X-Yachts hulls are built using the latest high-tech construction technologies, featuring a vacuum-infused, post-cured (oven-cured at 70°C) epoxy construction and gelcoat finish.
Keel:
Keel - 2.1 m 'T' keel consists of antimony hardened lead T-bulb bolted and glued to cast iron fin for high strength, low centre of gravity for comfortable sailing performance. The Keel is totally encapsulated in three layers of CSM E-glass with epoxy for protection, perfect wing shape and maximum lift and height by sailing. The keel is securely bolted to the structural steel keel frame with stainless steel bolts for maximum safety and integrated central hoist.

The X4⁰ is the smallest model in the Pure X series and combines quality, performance, and design with touring capability. The X4⁰ is a 40-foot performance cruising yacht that is just as suitable for long voyages as it is for weekend trips! The design philosophy was very clear from the outset – as with all X yachts, the shipyard placed great emphasis on offering the owner an outstanding and comfortable sailing experience on a yacht that is easy for the entire crew to handle, or as Tobi Hodges from Yachting World summed it up in one sentence: Probably the benchmark for today's 40-foot performance cruisers!
Owners Comment:
We are selling our very well kept X4.0. The boat is in perfect condition and it´s very complete with many extras. The boat has been stored indoors and serviced at X-Yacht’s Service Center in Haderslev every winter since new. The boat was delivered new from X-Yachts in September 2021 and has been substantially upgraded. The boat is a perfect performance cruiser, highly specified for comfort onboard and easy to sail with furling downwind sail, retractable bowthruster, electric port halyard winch, heater, auto pilot, 3 chart plotters, 2 VHF-radios, mobile solar panel and many other good solutions.
