Built by Wrighton, this 2007 Bi Loup 36 belongs to that rare breed of twin-keel cruisers designed to dry out and explore shallow waters as easily as they cross oceans. A sturdy, seakindly boat with real character, aimed at crews looking for independence and freedom of anchorage, offered at €59,000 VAT paid under FRANCE flag.
Build and seagoing qualities
Measuring 10.90 m overall with a 3.50 m beam, just 1.35 m draft and a displacement of 6,600 kg, the Bi Loup 36 combines interior volume with shallow-water access. The hull is polyester, the deck in GRP - fibreglass. The sail plan includes a fully battened mainsail, genoa, staysail and storm jib, with lazy jacks and lazy bag on the boom, spinnaker rigging, backstay and halyard turning blocks.
Power and life on board
Propulsion comes from a YANMAR 3JH4SE 39 HP, 3-cylinder diesel from 2007 with 1,580 hours, giving 6 knots cruising, 8 knots maximum and consumption of around 2 l/h, with 150 litres of fuel capacity. A bow thruster makes harbour manoeuvres straightforward. Below, 2 cabins and 6 berths for 6 people, a convertible saloon, a galley with hob, oven and electric fridge, plus hot water.
