Built by META, the French yard known for its metal bluewater hulls, this 2024 META 36 is a new boat under FRANCE flag. Eleven metres designed for offshore passages and high-latitude cruising, combining the strength and longevity of aluminium with a size that remains easy for a short-handed crew.
Build and seakeeping
Aluminium hull and deck, 11 m overall by 3.95 m beam, a shallow 1.50 m draft and an 8,200 kg displacement: proportions that allow drying out and shallow anchorages without compromising offshore behaviour. The rig is backed by a full deck hardware package: mainsail track and car, backstay, halyard turning blocks and winch handle.
Power and living aboard
A 48 hp NANNI 4.50 diesel on sail drive, with only 28 hours, delivers 6 knots cruising at 2 l/h and 9 knots top speed. With 350 l of fuel and 330 l of water, range is genuine. Below, 2 cabins and 5 berths, capacity for 7 people, hot water, cooker, electric fridge, deck shower and bathing ladder.
