This Columbia 57 is a fiberglass monohull with a displacement hull, semi-long keel and lead ballast. Her cutter configuration, closed stern and wheel steering are suited to experienced sailors planning extended cruising, with accommodation for up to 10 people in three cabins and two heads.

The sailing arrangement includes a single mast with double spreaders, a full-batten cruising mainsail, staysail and furling Yankee jib. Deck equipment includes a sprayhood, boom awning, cockpit table, external cushions, swim ladder, folding gangway, mooring lines, fenders and a 32 kg Bruce anchor with Lofrans Tigres windlass. Navigation and communications equipment includes Raymarine depth sounder and autopilot, VHF, Icom SSB and an EPIRB.

Below deck, the aft owner’s cabin has wardrobes and drawers, while the forward and midship cabins provide twin and bunk accommodation. The galley is fitted with a 3-burner gimbaled gas stove, oven, double sink and front-opening refrigerator. Systems include a Volvo Penta TAMD22P-B engine rated at 105 HP, 12 V electrical supply, two engine and two service batteries, an inverter, 800 litres of fresh water and 450 litres of fuel.
