Offered exclusively for sale by John Rodriguez Yachts, Wanderer is an exceptional example of the highly regarded Oyster 49 and presents in outstanding condition.
Occupying a sweet spot in the Oyster range, she combines excellent sailing performance, ease of handling and beautifully appointed accommodation. Relatively rare to the market, these capable bluewater cruisers offer an appealing balance of offshore capability and comfortable living aboard.
Oyster originally described the model as follows:
“The Oyster 49 offers excellent interior space, with six berths in three comfortable cabins, and excellent headroom throughout. Uncluttered decks and a generously sized centre cockpit make her simple to sail and a pleasure to liveaboard.”
Wanderer was the last Oyster 49 built and has had just two owners from new.
Comparatively lightly used and yet to cross an ocean, she has benefited from exceptionally attentive ownership, with no expense spared on her maintenance .
Wintered ashore for approximately five months each year and continuously professionally maintained, she presents in immaculate condition throughout.
A thoroughly capable bluewater cruiser, she deserves to be at the very top of any Oyster 49 buyer's shortlist and her condition really must be seen to be appreciated.
