The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 52.2 is arranged for comfortable cruising with five cabins, ten berths plus two, and five toilets. Twin steering wheels, a spacious cockpit with an extra-large table, cockpit cushions, a swimming ladder and an outside shower make the deck practical for extended time aboard. The boat also has a bimini, sprayhood and a 2.70 m dinghy with a V-shaped hull.

Sailing equipment includes a furling mainsail and furling genoa, both renewed in 2019, together with two electric winches and three halyard brakes renewed in 2023. Navigation equipment comprises an autopilot, colour GPS chartplotter, radar, echo sounder, log, wind instrument and VHF radio. A Lofrans 1700 W electric anchor windlass and fully galvanized anchor are also fitted.

Onboard systems include a 75 HP Yanmar engine, 400-litre fuel capacity and 1,000-litre freshwater capacity, along with two refrigerators, a gas cooker, hot water and shore power. Recent work includes renewed batteries, new electronics, servicing of the engine, winches and toilet pumps, and replacement of the cockpit and transom decking with genuine Burma teak. VAT is not paid.
