This Jongert Trewes Flushdeck 16S is a 16.50 m sailing yacht with a 4.50 m beam, 2.80 m draft and long-keel configuration. The steel hull and steel superstructure give the vessel a substantial displacement of approximately 42 tons dry and 50 tons loaded. Teak decks and the upper superstructure were renewed during the earlier overhaul.

Propulsion is provided by a 286 HP, six-cylinder turbocharged and intercooled Vetus/Deutz engine, installed new during the major rebuild, with approximately 2700 engine hours. The installation includes hydraulic transmission, hydraulic steering, Racor fuel/water separators with alarms and a Side-Power T185 bow thruster rated at 155 kgf on 24V. Electrical equipment includes a 12 kW Kohler generator, an overhauled 6.5 kW Onan generator and solar panels.

The interior is arranged with two master cabins and a separate captain’s cabin, with electric Jabsco toilets plus both gas and electric cooking facilities. Tank capacity is 2,500 litres of fuel, 2,500 litres of fresh water and 500 litres of grey water. Navigation equipment comprises Simrad VHF, GPS, Simrad 3D HD radar and a chartplotter/navigation system. The rig has furling sails, and the mizzen is brand new; all sails were replaced approximately three years ago. Recent maintenance includes a complete bottom job carried out last winter, while minor cosmetic work is required.
