2007 Meridian Yachts 391 Sedan, 275 000 EUR

Meridian is something of a rarity in Swedish waters, but the name behind her is hardly unknown. She was built within Brunswick, the world’s largest manufacturer of recreational boats and the group behind Sea Ray and Bayliner.

From the outside she looks more like a European motor yacht than an American one, but the thinking behind her is distinctly American. A short foredeck and a long superstructure put more of her length where you actually spend your time, which gives her a volume that is unusual for a 39-footer.

The flybridge is the natural gathering point on board, with a large sofa aft that seats the whole party. It is reached by a moulded staircase from the cockpit, a staircase that hides more than you might think.

The cockpit works as a porch to the saloon, and with the glass sliding door open the two flow together into one room. Inside, the large glazed areas frame the archipelago like a living painting, and one flight down there are two cabins, each with a double bed.

Since 2021 she has spent every winter indoors in a heated hall, and the seller has invested in a new Raymarine navigation package, a Victron lithium system and Zipwake.
