1976 Klepper Monas, 3 500 EUR

A true rarity. A Klepper Monas (part of the excellent Stöberl series—Dyas, Trias, Quartas, etc.) single-handed keelboat for sale. Anyone who knows it, has seen it, or raced against it knows what it’s capable of... Features: self-tacking jib, spinnaker (rigged for gennaker too), standing rigging, self-draining cockpit, and a factory-fitted hiking platform for the helmsman that extends outboard. A regular podium finisher in YS II (YS rating 103); it points well upwind and planes on a reach. Zero helm pressure. It offers a genuine dinghy-like feel in a small keelboat package. A real joy to sail—you can learn everything on it!

In brief: length 7 m, draft 110 cm, weight 550 kg. Osmosis-free; complete below-waterline refurbishment (vinylester layer + TAR system), including the keel (removal, re-mounting, etc.)! I restored it for personal use, not for resale... but things turned out differently after 10 years. Sail inventory: 2 mainsails, 3 jibs, 2 spinnakers (one for casual sailing, one for racing). Includes the excellent launching trailer shown in the photo (featuring a custom lifting system for blocking/storage). Engine: Suzuki 2.5 HP (long shaft) available for an additional 700 Euro (approx. 25 hours of use).
