Built by the German yard Hanse Yachts, this 2003 model shows all the ingredients behind the brand's success: crisp lines, a clean deck layout and sound, predictable manners under sail, all aimed at family coastal cruising. At 8.99 m overall she stays easy to handle shorthanded while offering genuine cruiser volume below. Offered at €25,000 incl. VAT.
Construction and seakeeping
GRP hull with fibreglass deck, and a modest 3,250 kg displacement that explains her turn of speed under sail. A 2.78 m beam provides good form stability, while the 1.68 m draft gives easy access to coastal anchorages. The rig is worked from the cockpit, with a fully battened main, genoa, boom fitted with lazy jacks, halyard turning blocks and backstay.
Engine and accommodation
The 10 hp Volvo MD 2010 diesel, a two-cylinder raw-water cooled unit, shows 1,100 hours and delivers a 5-knot cruising speed for around 1 l/h, with 45 l of fuel and 100 l of fresh water. Below, two cabins and six berths, a galley with cooker and icebox; on deck, a teak cockpit extended by a bathing platform and ladder, plus companionway cover and sun awning.
