Launched in 2002, the Pulsar 33 belongs to that generation of liveable trimarans that successfully married speed with family cruising. At 9.99 m long, 8.20 m wide and a modest 3,900 kg displacement, she stands apart on the brokerage market: light enough for genuine sailing thrills, complete enough for several days afloat with three on board. Offered at €65,000 incl. VAT.
Build and seakeeping
Polyester hull with GRP deck, built for stiffness and easy upkeep. A draft of just one metre opens up shallow anchorages, while the 8.20 m platform delivers immediate sail-carrying power and a clear working deck. The rig is supported by a bowsprit, mainsail track and car, halyard turning blocks and a full spinnaker set-up with snuffer, plus an additional sail wardrobe.
Performance and life aboard
Under sail the brief is simple: speed and responsiveness. Under power, an 18 hp Lombardini LDW 702M diesel with raw-water cooling shows only 350 hours and delivers 7 knots cruising for around 2 l/h, with 60 litres of fuel and 80 litres of fresh water. Accommodation comprises 2 cabins and 3 berths for up to 5 people aboard, with 20 L hot water, hob, oven and radio.
