EWA Hummel Hardtop – Timeless Classic with Charm and History

This EWA Hummel Hardtop from 1964 unites timeless design, classic craftsmanship and authentic vintage flair. The combination of the elegant wooden hull, stylish hardtop and gleaming finish makes this motorboat a rare eye-catcher on any lake. With a length of 7.00 metres and a width of 2.50 metres, the boat offers space for up to seven people – perfect for elegant outings with family or friends.

This runabout was built by the renowned EWA shipyard on Lake Constance, which became famous in the 1960s for its sporty and innovative wooden boats. The Hummel family models were known for their quality, precision and durability. The highlight of this particular boat: the sliding hardtop offers maximum flexibility and weather protection – a comfort rarely found in this class.

This boat is a genuine collector’s item and is in remarkably good condition: it has been stored dry and protected under cover in a hall for all these years, which is reflected in the immaculate woodwork. The interior impresses with a maritime atmosphere and variable seating and reclining areas that can be easily converted as needed.

The EWA Hummel was always designed as an inboard and was offered in different versions such as “Hummel Sport”, “Hummel Family”, “Hummel Super Sport” and “Hummel Spezial” – but only as a finished boat from the shipyard. For those who appreciate the extraordinary, this EWA Hummel Hardtop offers a rare combination of elegance, history and lasting value – qualities that are now hard to find on the market.
