Classic Versilcraft, built in 1986 as a collaboration between some of the most renowned yacht builders in the Netherlands and Italy. Both the hull and superstructure were constructed using high-quality aluminum alloy, proven to be strong with the latest Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) conducted in July 2012. This, therefore, paved the way for a complete refit of the yacht in the following years. The scope of work completed between 2012 and 2019 demonstrates the passion and determination of all involved to enhance its performance, while simultaneously offering greater comfort and privacy, ensuring an unforgettable cruising experience, and turning it into one of the inspiring jewels of the yachting industry. The comprehensive refit resulted in a complete transformation, transforming both the interior and exterior of the yacht. The hull was extended by 3 meters with a spacious aft deck, also designed as a swim platform, to facilitate entry and exit from the water and increase opportunities for entertainment and watersports.
A complete teak deck refit includes the removal of the old teak, sandblasting, reconfiguration of all decks, installation of new teak decking, sandblasting of the underwater section, repainting of the hull and superstructure, new handrails, and stainless steel awnings. The upper deck has been completely redesigned to feature a brand-new outdoor area: the dining and lounge areas are located under a sunshade, complemented by new refrigerators, an i-maker, and a grill for enhanced guest comfort. BÖNING provides a graphic display of the generators and propulsion engines, power management system data, as well as fuel tanks, a fire system, bilge, service, and transfer pumps, information about doors and hatches, bilge alarms, navigation lights, and lighting systems, including video feeds from CCTV cameras and other pages with important onboard information – all conveniently located at both helm stations. The safety of your journey is guaranteed by two independent navigation systems: the existing GYROSTAR gyrocompass, RAYTHEON radar, RAYTHEON chartplotter, FURUNO echo sounder, SIMRAD autopilot, and SAILOR VHF – all redesigned and fully functional.
- and the new parallel, independently operating system, which was additionally installed during the refit, is fully implemented with the latest FURUNO navigation electronics—satellite compass, radar, chart plotter, front depth sounder, autopilot, VHF, navter, and a new weather station. To improve navigation performance and keep you fully connected while enjoying your holidays onboard, we installed a new antenna designed by GLOMEX with a signal repeater system that provides internet access from every spot on the yacht. A new satellite TV antenna with standalone tuners is also installed in all cabins.
Data collected by the CAN MONITORING system is displayed on monitors at both yacht control stations. To improve the safety and efficiency of ACH maneuvers, a new stern thruster was installed in addition to the existing bow thruster. Two bow thrusters and the addition of an ACHT CONTROLER remote control provide reliable control of the bow, stern thruster, port main engine, starboard engine, and one of the two anchors, allowing you to maneuver the yacht from any point on the two decks in a more relaxed and secure manner. To enhance guest comfort, the yacht's interior has been completely renovated with new teak and marble furniture, offering a balance of style and practicality.
