Her current and original owners have used the boat privately; however, her layout and features also make her a great candidate for one of the many charter companies here in the BVI. This could provide a buyer with income to offset the costs of ownership. The boat shows like new with very light use throughout. Designed by Philippe Briand, this 49-foot yacht combines sleek performance with modern cruising luxury. Below deck, she offers a 4-cabin, 4-head layout with teak finish and bright, airy spaces. Both forward cabins are identical in size, each featuring a large double berth, storage, and private head, while the two aft cabins include double berths with en-suite heads and generous storage. The spacious saloon is complemented by a comfortable bench, large dining table, interior speakers, USB outlets, and abundant storage. The U-shaped galley is fully equipped with dual refrigeration, Corian countertops, double stainless-steel sinks, a 3-burner stove, and ample soft-close drawers and cabinets—perfect for extended cruising or liveaboard comfort.Above deck, the cockpit is designed for both performance and relaxation. Twin helm stations provide excellent visibility underway, while a large folding cockpit table with wooden leaves makes entertaining effortless. Cushioned seating, a full bimini with connecting sprayhood, and a sun lounge forward of the companionway offer comfort at anchor or underway. GRP window “eyebrows” and high-transparency canvas allow light in while providing protection from the elements. Easy access to the fold-down swim platform and telescopic ladder ensures safe and convenient water access.Equipped for autonomy and comfort, Oh Brother features Epsilon lithium batteries, a Northern Lights 7.5 kW generator, and a full 110V air-conditioning system. The Raymarine electronics suite includes Axiom Pro navigation, autopilot, AIS, and multi-function displays both at the helm and in the saloon. With just 382 engine hours and 147 generator hours, this yacht has seen exceptionally light use and has been meticulously maintained. Oh Brother represents a rare opportunity to own a nearly new, fully equipped Jeanneau 490, ready for immediate cruising in comfort and style.Version françaiseOh Brother est un Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 de 2022, géré professionnellement et détenu en privé, qui n’a jamais été affrété.
