The Outremer 5X is a high-performance bluewater catamaran designed by the renowned VPLP team and awarded European Yacht of the Year 2012. Renowned for her excellent sailing performance and easy handling by a short-handed crew, she is a masterpiece of French boatbuilding. Hull N°18 is a meticulously maintained 3-cabin owner’s version, delivered in 2017 to her first and only German owners. The port hull is dedicated entirely to the owner’s suite. Carbon options include mast, davits, bimini, and forward beam. Sails include Hydranet main and genoa, a 2023 Code D gennaker and Code Zero, plus a symmetric spinnaker. Seven layers of Coppercoat were applied in 2023. Exceptional autonomy is ensured by 3x 200Ah Victron Lithium batteries (total over 15.000 Wh, 2x Victron Lynx, Victron Cervo, Victron BMS (all in 2026), 4x590W solar panels (2026), a Watt&Sea hydrogenerator, and a Dessalator Duo watermaker. Further equipment includes Starlink, 10kW Webasto heating, Raymarine electronics, dual autopilots, a Samsung washer-dryer, and a 3.60m AB Hypalon dinghy with 15hp Yamaha outboard (both 2023). In top condition with absolutely no maintenance backlog, she is still enjoyed by her owners on cruises between the Canary and Frisian Islands. Simply the world’s best Outremer 5X on the market, ready for her second owner.
