This rock-solidly built cruising yacht is being sold because the owner has, unfortunately, passed away. As an experienced shipbuilder, he built this yacht for himself and equipped it very well with every conceivable piece of equipment, including electric winches, two spacious sleeping cabins with private bathrooms, a safe central cockpit, and a beautifully finished interior.

The boat is constructed using a very sturdy wood-epoxy system, consisting of a layer of aramid (Kevlar), cedar wood, fiberglass epoxy, a Hempel vapor barrier, and finished with epoxy containing copper to prevent fouling. Thanks to this highly rigid construction method, you won’t have to worry about condensation; the wood-epoxy construction also provides excellent insulation, making extended stays on board entirely possible.

The shipbuilder began construction in 2004, and the boat was finally launched in 2014. He has taken many trips on it, so the boat has proven its reliability. The draft and clearance height are not yet known exactly. It is presumed to be 1.60 m.

This beautiful, ready-to-sail yacht is being sold at a reasonable price because there are still a few finishing touches to be completed, such as finishing the forward wet room, and the seams between the teak deck will also need to be partially re-caulked. There is no risk of leaks, as the teak deck is glued to an epoxy-coated deck. Additionally, a number of scepter posts are loose, the baseboards will need to be replaced, and both the winter cover and the cockpit awning must be checked for loose stitching. The scepter sockets are laminated into a mahogany beam, which also serves to support the deck. On the starboard side, part of this beam appears to be damaged by woodworm. This section will be replaced. On the port side forward, there is a crack in the laminate; this needs to be milled out and filled.
