The SOMMERWIND was built in 2022 and launched for the first time in May 2023. It has been used exclusively for private purposes, carefully maintained, and is in excellent, nearly new condition. Particularly noteworthy are the shallow-draft lead keel with a draft of just 1.15 m, the convenient mast-lowering system, the bow thruster, the electric anchor winch with stainless steel chain, and the powerful Webasto hot-air heater. High-quality stainless-steel tanks for fresh water, wastewater, and diesel, along with a modern power supply system featuring a solar array, Victron charging technology, an inverter, and a shore power connection, ensure the boat’s self-sufficiency even on longer voyages.
In terms of sailing performance, the yacht impresses with high-quality Selden rigging, including a Furlex furling system for the genoa and gennaker, a rod kicker, and self-tailing Anderson winches. The colorful gennaker ensures sporty sailing characteristics, as does the well-balanced rig.
On board, modern Raymarine navigation equipment is available, including an Axiom+ 7 plotter, i70 Tridata instruments, AIS, and a VHF radio system. A Raymarine ST2000 Plus autopilot provides reliable support on longer legs of the voyage.
Below deck, you’ll find a comfortable dinette layout with an extended galley, a compressor refrigerator, a two-burner gas stove, ample storage space, and high-quality 7-zone cold-foam mattresses with a spring support system. The increased headroom of up to 1.78 m, LED lighting, Fusion audio system, and numerous 220-volt and USB outlets ensure a high level of living comfort.
Everything has been thought of on deck as well: a sprayhood, full canopy, sun awning, folding cockpit table, full cover, and genoa cover enable comfortable sailing in almost any weather.
The offer includes a high-quality Echtermann double-axle trailer with a total weight capacity of 3,500 kg, a spare tire, and a ladder. This allows the yacht to remain independent of fixed berths and opens up nearly unlimited possibilities for exploring different sailing areas.
