2001 Aquastar 45 - 48, 215 000 EUR

Very neat and complete Aquastar 45. Later this motor yacht was called the 48 ft because of the dimensions. This Aquastar is from the second owner. Both owners are Dutch and the boat has mainly sailed on fresh water. The Aquastar is traditionally built and very solid. This Aquastar 45 has two heavy Volvo diesel engines with bow and stern thrusters, electric anchor winch, generator, 2x battery charger, air conditioning, folding stainless steel radar arch, life raft, lots of equipment such as autopilot, radar, plotter, log, depth, speed and wind meter (plenty of double both on the inside steering position and on the fly-bridge). New propeller shafts (2022) and new batteries! The Aquastar has two spacious sleeping cabins, each with its own bathroom with shower (bathtub) and toilet. Central heating, large dinette with U-shaped kitchen. Spacious salon with rear sliding door and side entrances. New upholstery and carpet with partly teak floors. New mattresses (barely slept in). You will also find a lot of storage space on board and due to the use of large windows and portholes (with mosquito screens) there is a lot of light in the interior and plenty of ventilation. The exterior offers spacious side decks, large fore and aft deck, spacious flybridge, large aft deck and spacious swimming platform. Everything is covered with artificial teak deck (Flexiteak - Sneek). Solid stainless steel railing all around and beautiful deck lighting. Hull shape- round bilge semi displacement with continuous sliding strip underwater. The underwater hull has an installation whereby there is presumably correct tension on underwater hull against corrosion. The boat has been on the hard all year in 2020 and 2021. She was launched at the end of 2022. New propeller shafts and through-hulls and bearings (2020). New service batteries Victron (2020), 2x new Optima starter batteries (2020), New Optima bow thruster and stern thruster batteries (2022), new antifouling and anodes (2025). Owner's note: "Due to leakage on the gland of the right propeller shaft, it had to be dismantled. This proved difficult and due to limited space, the propeller shaft was cut through and completely replaced. To prevent a similar future problem, the left propeller shaft gland and bearings were also replaced. Work carried out by Jachtservice Muiderzand." The boat has had a number of long trips to the German Bight and Scandinavia with the previous owner. Her home port was Hindeloopen and in her own shed. The Flexiteak was laid on in Sneek.
