 Mechanical Systems The Four Winns 248 Vista is powered by a 2004 four-cylinder Volvo Penta KAD32 170hp turbo charged diesel engine, with 388 hours recorded as at 10th October 2026. Power is delivered via a sterndrive with DuoProp propellers, providing an approximate cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed of 25 knots. The engine was last serviced in May 2026. When last out of the water in September 2025, the sterndrive bellows were replaced, the leg serviced, and the anodes renewed. New trim tab rams were fitted in June 2019. She has a 265-litre dieselplastic fuel tank  Electrical Systems The electrical system comprises two 12-volt batteries (new in 2017), charged via the engine alternator and a 240-volt battery charger.
