Regular care for the Solaris40 Aeneas during 2021-2026
Since we acquired Aeneas in April 2021, we have been professionally and
passionately taking care of the boat:
- At least 1 month per year in dry dock
- Hull antifouling with gun, fluorescent antifouling on rudders, topsides polishing. Done every year.
- Annual rigging check
- Rudders removed, checked and reinstalled after application of fluorescent antifouling.
- Wooden cockpit table and entrance panels painted with silicon impregnating protective varnish (non shiny). Done once a year.
- Engine service by authorized Volvo service point
- Propeller unmounted and serviced every year
- Winches serviced 2 times per year
- Windlass removed and serviced annually
- Electric WCs unmounted, all tubes and return valves replaced annually
- Halyards, lifelines, and sheets constantly replaced, none is more than 2 years old
- Rinsed, cleaned and checked every week
- Liferaft & fire extinguishers serviced annually
