The Bavaria Cruiser 46 is fitted with the upgraded Volvo D2-75 engine with 3200 hours. She is fitted with an in-mast furling mainsail (2020) and furling Genua (2017). Raymarine Navigation Chartplotter (2023), VHF with AIS, r, Raymarine Autopilot (2023), heating in all cabins and salon, full cockpit enclosure, bow thruster, Liferaft for 8 People. Sailing characteristics



Thanks to the double rudder, these Yacht pulls through the water as if on rails. The steering wheels always remain smooth, even in strong winds. The Bavaria 46 with 1100 square feet of sail area does not need to be reefed until about 20 knots, unless the wind comes from astern, then only at about 25 knots of wind. Since the sail areas of the genoa and mainsail are very well balanced, the yacht sails her course stably even without an autopilot. When sailing between 30 and 60 degrees and at 180 degrees to the wind, the yacht sails by itself. Simply fix the steering wheels and you're on your way to your destination without an autopilot. With a little sailing experience, this yacht can also be sailed also alone. The bronze folding propeller makes the yacht faster than conventional yachts. 10 knots speed and more are not uncommon: the yacht is also convincing in light winds. On courses around 30-90 degrees, even 10 knots of wind are enough for approx. 5 KN speed. You will be thrilled. Since taking over the yacht in May 2021, it has never been chartered out, it has always been the owner on board.
