The Selene 49 is the next generation evolution of the very popular Selene 47. It features the Deep-Hull™ design and Cruiser Stern™ which improves headroom in the engine room and lazarette and makes the hull even more efficient than its predecessor. The Selene 49 has a very traditional « salty » look from the outside. Another significant difference is a wider flybridge giving space for entertaining friends and family with style in the open air, with ample room on the aft deck for a dinghy and hydraulic crane. The flybridge layout with a canvas cover or a hard-top includes an L-shaped settee and table and a bar with sink and BBQ. The hull itself is deeper than the Selene 47 and is meant to carve through the water. The longer LOA of the Selene 49 translates to an 8” increase in the cockpit and 4” more in the salon. The living space is large and spacious for the long cruising days. The salon is luxuriously finished in teak. Past the L-shaped dinette for four to port, the U-shaped galley forward has granite countertops and modern appliances, including a full-size refrigerator with freezer. The two or three-stateroom accommodations down below are spacious, due to the full hull sections forward. The master stateroom has a queen-size island berth with teak and holly steps on both sides, plus two large cedar-lined hanging lockers.

Die Selene 49 ist die Weiterentwicklung der äußerst beliebten Selene 47 der nächsten Generation. Sie verfügt über das Deep-Hull™-Design und den Cruiser Stern™, wodurch die Stehhöhe im Maschinenraum und im Stauraum verbessert wird und der Rumpf noch effizienter ist als bei ihrem Vorgängermodell. Von außen präsentiert sich die Selene 49 in einem sehr traditionellen, „seetüchtigen“ Look. Ein weiterer wesentlicher Unterschied ist die breitere Flybridge, die Platz für stilvolle Unterhaltung mit Freunden und Familie unter freiem Himmel bietet, wobei auf dem Achterdeck reichlich Platz für ein Beiboot und einen Hydraulikkran vorhanden ist. Die Flybridge-Ausstattung mit Segeltuchverdeck oder Hardtop umfasst eine L-förmige Sitzgruppe mit Tisch sowie eine Bar mit Spüle und Grill. Der Rumpf selbst ist tiefer als bei der Selene 47 und darauf ausgelegt, durch das Wasser zu gleiten. Die größere Gesamtlänge der Selene 49 bedeutet eine Vergrößerung des Cockpits um 8” und des Salons um 4”. Der Wohnbereich ist großzügig und geräumig, ideal für lange Tage auf See. Der Salon ist luxuriös mit Teakholz ausgestattet. Hinter der L-förmigen Essecke für vier Personen an Backbord befindet sich die U-förmige Kombüse im vorderen Bereich mit Granitarbeitsplatten und modernen Geräten, darunter ein großer Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Die Unterkünfte mit zwei oder drei Kabinen unter Deck sind dank der voll ausgebildeten Rumpfsektionen im vorderen Bereich geräumig. Die Eignerkabine verfügt über eine Queen-Size-Inselkoje mit Stufen aus Teak und Stechpalme auf beiden Seiten sowie zwei große, mit Zedernholz ausgekleidete Kleiderschränke.
