BRUMA It is a unique piece, built with the best materials of the era, with a well-conceived and well executed design. It has survived to the present day in 90% original condition, with not a single plank of the hull replaced, including its original masts, furniture, woodwork, etc., as well as several functional elements such as tanks, steering system, and electrical installations. Throughout its history and through changes of ownership, some elements have been replaced and others added.
The most recent major upgrade was the engine replacement.

It has always been a family vessel, meaning for the use and enjoyment of family and friends, on calm and peaceful voyages.
Another positive aspect is that it has always had a crew on board, who, to the best of their knowledge, have carried out the boat's maintenance tasks.
It has adapted to the new developments and needs of daily life; for example, the energy demand on board is nothing like it was 30 years ago, nor is it today, and the voltage and frequency between Argentina and Europe are also very different.

As for the rigging, it's a Bermuda cutter ketch, with two Douglas fir masts built in the traditional style: the main mast and the mizzen mast.
