KingFisher Boats are known for their robust (fishing) vessels where comfort and performance are key. She is very solidly built and is excellent for longer stays on board with trips over large bodies of water. We easily step into the (work) cockpit via the swim platform, which is spacious and has a floor plan with an entry to the salon. Under the large floor plates are the 2 Volvo Penta's D4-2060 which are easily accessible from all sides. The space is also ideal for a folding table and a few chairs. For maneuvering in the lock or docking, she can also be controlled from the cockpit, whether you prefer to sail alone or with friends, docking is easy with the twin engines and bow thruster. Due to the Hekdrive (completely overhauled in 2025), she is very easy to handle and makes sailing very pleasant, by folding it up she is also very suitable for shallow waters.
On the flybridge, there is a long longitudinal bench and a double seat behind the steering wheel, all the necessary equipment is also present here to sail worry-free with bow thruster control, VHF, Plotter, and Autopilot.
At the entrance to the salon, we find a gimbaled (!!) 4-burner gas stove with oven, a countertop with sink, and under the captain's chair, the side-loading refrigerator. On the port side is a cozy U-shaped seating area, which can easily be converted into a double bed by lowering the table. There is also a large storage space under the cabin floor here, where the electrical inspection is built-in. While sailing in bad weather, the double seat next to the captain is very comfortable, something we usually only see on 40+ foot motor yachts. Via a short staircase, we enter the fore cabin with a double bed on the port side under the cabin, separated by a curtain, and on the starboard side, the wet room with an electric toilet. In the bow is a 2-person V-berth which has been made sealable with a door.
