Jongert 16S Flushdeck is a substantial and beautifully proportioned boat, built in 1979 by Trewes in Holland. Designed as a serious long-range cruising yacht, she combines the timeless character of a classic Jongert with the benefits of extensive modernisation.

Her major rebuild between 1999 and 2003 included the installation of a new 286 HP Vetus/Deutz main engine, hydraulic systems and rigging, while a further refit in 2014 concentrated mainly on the interior and included a new 12 kW Kohler generator. With her steel hull, long keel, generous tankage and approximately 2700 engine hours, she is a capable and dependable yacht designed for comfortable cruising over extended periods.

The yacht has been continuously maintained and upgraded, with a complete bottom job carried out last winter and all sails replaced approximately three years ago. The mizzen is brand new. On deck, she benefits from a Side-Power bow thruster, solar panels and a comprehensive Simrad navigation package including VHF, GPS and 3D HD radar.
