The Bruijs Vlet “Samaya” is a characterful Dutch motor yacht with a timeless appearance and exceptionally solid build quality. This Bruijs Super Weekend 9.70 was built as a hull in 1972 by the renowned Dutch shipyard Bruijs Jachtbouw in Bergen op Zoom and was subsequently finished by the first owner with great care and attention to detail. The “Samaya” has remained within the same family since the 1990s and has always been carefully maintained. Every winter, the vessel was stored ashore and received the necessary maintenance and various upgrades over the years. Recently, the instrument panel was renewed, a large new refrigerator was installed, and the gas piping was also replaced in 2025.

With a length of 9.70 metres, a beam of 3.35 metres and a displacement of approximately 10 tonnes, this vlet offers particularly stable and comfortable cruising characteristics. Thanks to the additional bilge keels of one metre deep, the vessel remains remarkably stable in the water and is also suitable for drying out or longer stays on board. The additional rudder construction behind the propeller significantly improves manoeuvrability in reverse, while the powerful 24V bow thruster provides extra control when docking.

The reliable DAF DA475 six-cylinder diesel engine delivers 100 hp and is well known for its robust character and smooth operation. With a cruising speed of approximately 10 km/h and a fuel consumption of around 4 litres per hour, the “Samaya” is an enjoyable and economical vessel for longer journeys on inland waterways, rivers and coastal waters.

Inside, the yacht offers a cosy and practical layout featuring an open forepeak, dinette, galley, toilet and a separately closable aft cabin. Thanks to the interior headroom of approximately 1.90 metres, the living space feels surprisingly spacious. The warm wood finish combined with the large windows creates a classic nautical atmosphere that perfectly matches the character of the vessel. With four berths, the “Samaya” is ideal for comfortable weekend trips or extended holidays on the water.

Technically, the vessel is also well equipped with, among other things, a Victron battery charger and inverter, shore power connection, solar panels, Webasto heating and an electric anchor winch. On board, you will also find a spacious refrigerator, television, radio and various navigation instruments.
