The Prout 45
Built for safety, load-carrying, and self-sufficiency, the Prout 45 is a heavy-displacement offshore cat with a structural integrity modern lightweight production boats don't match. Solid fibreglass below the waterline, 9mm cored topsides, long keels with protective skegs, and all control lines led to the cockpit — she can be single-handed comfortably and beached for maintenance. These rarely come up for sale. Especially in this condition.

Cockpit & Deck
A large sunken cockpit seats six for dinner with two lounge areas and an elevated captain's chair. Practical in open ocean, comfortable at anchor, with unobstructed sightlines and full sail control from one position. A brand new 3×3m inflatable floating dock deploys from the stern for swimming.

Interior
Light hardwood joinery throughout sets La Liberté apart from modern production alternatives — warm, well-crafted, and full of thoughtful detail. The compass-inlaid saloon table seats ten. Reverse-sliding lockers, chart storage drawers, excellent headroom throughout, and large screened hatches for airflow.
Port Hull — Owner's Suite: Dressing area with ample storage, full-size shower, electric toilet, washing machine.

Her Story
La Liberté was launched in England and sailed into the Mediterranean by her first owner before passing to a couple who cruised her there for the majority of her life, meticulously maintained and professionally winterised each season. They sold only when age caught up with them.
Her current owners departed the Mediterranean five years ago after extensive upgrades, crossing the Atlantic and island-hopping to the Bahamas with their family. Every system is tested and proven.
She is offered reluctantly as the owners 5 year sabbatical has come to an end, as-is, all inclusive — ready to sail the day you arrive.
Owners are happy to do an extensive handover, with training if required.
