Highly upgraded Pogo 40 GTE – fast, autonomous and fully equipped for shorthanded offshore sailing.
This Pogo 40 combines the proven Finot-Conq offshore hull with extensive recent upgrades, creating a highly capable offshore platform equally suited to passagemaking, racing or fast cruising. Derived from the Class40 lineage and built by Structures, she delivers exceptional performance while remaining manageable by a small crew or solo sailor.
The yacht recently completed a Lisbon–Lanzarote–Madeira–Lisbon Atlantic circuit and is fully operational, thoroughly tested and ready for immediate offshore use.
Major upgrades (2022–2025)
• Carbon mast with renewed rod rigging
• Composite Dyneema backstays
• High-end deck hardware throughout
• Three Facnor furling systems
• Additional winches and Dyneema running rigging
• Complete energy system refit (LiFePO₄, alternator, hydrogenerator, solar, inverter)
• Hull stripped and recoated with VC Offshore EU antifouling
Unlike many Pogo 40s, this yacht combines recent rigging, a complete modern energy system, fully redundant navigation systems and an extensive sail inventory. The result is a rare turnkey offshore package requiring no significant further investment.
