1990 Amateur Con Basetta 28 Trimaran, 7 500 EUR

"Con Basetta" was built in Italy as a prototype of a trimaran from 3 layers of 3mm cold moulded wood sheathed with glass and epoxy. The 2nd owner brought te boat to the Netherlands and the 3rd, present owner replaced the original floats with those of a Dart catamaran with special reinforcements for the demountable crossbeams. Partly because of these new floats, the boat sails well. Over the years "Con Basetta" was adjusted to sailing and drying out on our shallow Waddensea with a lifting keel and outboard on a sliding bracket on the transom. The basic sails show a nice turn of speed already in light air and the log/speedo and echo sounder help with the navigation as does the Magellan GPS. The boat can use some cosmetic TLC especially on the inside, that the owner cannot finish anymore due to his moving to an island, where there is no mooring for this trimaran. The galvanised tandem axle tilt-trailer is available at an additional price.

A „Con Basetta” hajót Olaszországban építették, mint egy trimarán prototípusát, három réteg 3 mm-es, hidegen formázott, üveggel és epoxival bevont fából. A hajót a második tulajdonos hozta Hollandiába, a harmadik, jelenlegi tulajdonos pedig kicserélte az eredeti úszókat egy Dart katamarán úszóira, amelyek speciális megerősítésekkel rendelkeznek a leszerelhető keresztgerendákhoz. Részben ezeknek az új úszóknak köszönhetően a hajó jól vitorlázik. Az évek során a „Con Basetta”-t a sekély Wadden-tengeren való vitorlázáshoz és kiszáradáshoz igazították, emelhető tőkével és a hajófar csúszó konzolján elhelyezett külső motorral. Az alapvitorlák már gyenge szélben is szép sebességet biztosítanak, a hajónapló/sebességmérő és a mélységmérő, valamint a Magellan GPS egyaránt segíti a navigációt. A hajónak ráférne némi kozmetikai felújítás, különösen a belső terekben, amit a tulajdonos már nem tud befejezni, mivel egy szigetre költözik, ahol nincs kikötőhely ennek a trimaránnak. A horganyzott, tandemtengelyes, billenő pótkocsi felár ellenében kapható.
