Alter Baltics LLC

Alter Group was founded in 1998 as a holding company, and it owns 100% of Alter Baltics, which handles sales and distribution across all three Baltic countries. Within Alter Baltics, we have two main divisions: Marine and Electrical. The Electrical division focuses primarily on electrical commercial lighting systems, including lighting control systems.

Our journey through the years
Alter Baltics LLC is a family-owned and -operated business, managed by two brothers Roland and Margus Silluta. Both of them are passionate about sailing and boating. Therefore we are invested in the marine sector and keeping up with its rapid changes, which is why we regularly attend distributor meetings, major boat shows in Europe, and, most importantly, visit our customers, including boat dealers and fishing tackle shops, throughout the Baltic region to stay informed about market trends.



To support the company’s growth and development, a subsidiary, Alter Baltics OÜ, was established in 2010, taking over the core business operations.

Our Marine division has been in operation since 2004. We represent two renowned French brands in the Baltics: Beneteau (Estonia and Latvia) and Z-Nautic (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania). Today, we are represented across the Baltic countries, offering world-class brands such as Lowrance, Simrad, Beneteau, Excess, Zodiac, Torqeedo, Zipwake, and many more. We prioritize offering quality products and providing quality service to our customers, additionally we pride ourselves in the ability and expertise to service all of our product range in house.



We actively support major sailing events in Estonia, such as the Muhu Väin regatta and the ORC World Championship. In addition, we regularly attend international boat shows throughout the year, giving you the opportunity to join us at events featuring Beneteau motorboats and sailing yachts, as well as Excess catamarans.



We operate an office and warehouse in Harju County, conveniently located near Tallinn. We offer a full range of services to our customers, including boat and engine sales, additional and safety equipment, installation of options and PDC systems, winter storage, and more. We also provide on-water demonstrations with our demo boats. In addition to our main office in Tallinn, we have a showroom in Riga and are planning to open a branch in Lithuania later this year.



In 2023, our turnover reached €11.5 million, an increase compared to 2023. The marine division accounts for approximately 60% of our total turnover.

Over the years, we have also:

✔ Worked closely with boating and fishing magazines, sharing knowledge and test results
