A classic keel yacht s/y Czajka of the slup type, which according to the papers was built in the 1970s, but according to verbal accounts of the previous owners and sailing enthusiasts and members of sailing clubs from Szczecin (Poland) dates back to 1932 from the Warnemünde shipyard. The yacht sailed all its life in the area of the Szczecin Lagoon, and is well-known in sailing circles there. I transported it to the Mazurian Lakes 10 years ago.
Dimensions:
- length about 7.5m
- width 1.8m
- height in the cabin 1.65 (at the highest point)
- genoa 12m2, mainsail 12m2
- furling, mainsail reefed with a single line let through blocks sewn into the sail
- steel hull, iroko deck, mahogany superstructure
- mast and boom of aluminum, thick marine profiles, can withstand any weather
- rigging brought to the cockpit, with a little practice you can sail alone
- mast-lowering gantry
- crew of 4 people,
- two-stroke Mariner 10hp outboard engine, to it a Volvo manoeuvre and rudders. The engine is ignited by a jerk.
- In the galley a sink with a pump tap, a stove for 2 burners, a marine toilet for a pump.
This is an unconventional yacht, for the person who prefers uniqueness and style over the comfort of today's plastic flat-bottomed soapboxes.
Currently, the yacht is located in Mikolajki, Mazury.
