The catamaran { ocean class A ) was constructed and built with oversight from the CROATIAN REGISTER OF SHIPPING ( CRS ), a government agency that is member of the International Association of Classification Societies ( IACS ).

The UPWIND 50 ECO catamaran has hydrodynamic and aerodynamic unique aluminum hull design that combines and allows the excitement of enhanced sailing speed with the high comfort accommodation.

The mast is 22 meters tall ( from roof ) and together with boom has a special design that allows for unobstructed airflow to the main sail ( without vortex ), resulting in increased sail efficiency. UPWIND 50 ECO has two centreboards ( 180 x 85 cm ) which permit sailing close to the wind ( upwind ). The main sail has 89 square meters ( full batten ), the furling genoa has 86 square meters, the furling asymmetrical spinnaker has 190 square meters and storm sail 16 m2, with all sails adjusted for “solo sailing”. 3 high-end Pontos – 4 speed winches, that are increasingly used on racing sailboats, allow the skipper to easily control the sails. The skipper's place and the helm on the roof are protected from waves, wind and rain.

Catamaran has 4 spacious equal guest cabins that are significantly larger compared to those of other 50 ft catamarans, with queen beds (160 x 200 cm),. The 2 aft cabins have especially large panoramic windows and doors. Every cabin is equipped with a bathroom including an electric toilet & shower. Each guest cabin has its own 80 cm diagonal TV, mobile phone and tablet chargers. In addition, there is a comfortable cabin with 2 pullman beds ( 100 x 190 cm ) for skipper and hostess ( or for children ) with their own bathroom, separated from the guest cabins.

The guests on board are afforded full privacy in the salon when mooring in the marina or harbor as the salon is placed strategically on the front of the catamaran. Der UPWIND 50 ECO Katamaran verfügt über ein hydrodynamisches und aerodynamisches, einzigartiges Aluminium-Rumpfdesign, das den Reiz einer erhöhten Segelgeschwindigkeit mit hohem Komfort kombiniert.

Der Mast ist 22 Meter hoch (ab Dach) und hat zusammen mit dem Baum ein spezielles Design, das einen ungehinderten Luftstrom zum Hauptsegel ermöglicht (ohne Wirbel), was zu einer erhöhten Segeleffizienz führt. UPWIND 50 ECO hat zwei Schwerter ( 180 x 85 cm ), die das Segeln nahe am Wind ( gegen den Wind ) ermöglichen. Das Hauptsegel hat 89 Quadratmeter ( volle Latten ), die Rollgenua hat 86 Quadratmeter, der asymmetrische Rollspinnaker hat 190 Quadratmeter und das Sturmsegel 16 m2, wobei alle Segel für "Solosegeln" eingestellt sind. 3 hochwertige Pontos - 4 Geschwindigkeitswinden, die zunehmend auf Rennsegelbooten eingesetzt werden, ermöglichen dem Skipper eine einfache Kontrolle der Segel. Der Platz des Skippers und das Steuerrad auf dem Dach sind vor Wellen, Wind und Regen geschützt.

Der Katamaran verfügt über 4 geräumige, gleichwertige Gästekabinen, die im Vergleich zu denen anderer 50-Fuß-Katamarane deutlich größer sind, mit Queensize-Betten (160 x 200 cm),. Die 2 Achterkabinen haben besonders große Panoramafenster und -türen. Jede Kabine ist mit einem Badezimmer ausgestattet, das eine elektrische Toilette und eine Dusche enthält.
