The Sockeye series is known for its robust appearance, economical operation and comfortable sailing - ideal for both longer trips and living aboard.
On offer is a very interesting and well-built one-owner example of the Sockeye 45, built in 2006 and subsequently CE-approved via a so-called "Post Construction Assessment" (category C, up to 10 people).
The boat was built in Turkey to Devlin's drawings and specifications, with a solid epoxy sealed wooden hull (laminated plywood and oak structure). After completion, the boat was transported to the Netherlands, where it was cleared through customs and EU VAT settled, after which the current owner sailed it to Denmark himself.
The owner used the boat for a few years in Danish waters, after which it was taken ashore and stored in a dry barn. This has had a very positive effect on the overall state of preservation.
The engine - a Perkins 135 hp diesel - has only run 186 hours.
Interior and layout:
The boat is decorated in classic trawler style with good space utilization and a cozy atmosphere. The layout can be seen in the original Devlin drawings and includes:
- Wheelhouse with good overview
- Lounge and living area where the sofa arrangement can be made into a bed
- Pantry and functional work areas with dishwasher option
- Large cabin in the bow with double bed
- 2 toilets and shower facilities
- Crane on roof with rib lifting option (Dismantled - up to 250 kg)
The design combines functionality with maritime charm.
Various highlighted equipment:
- Perkins 135 hp diesel engine
- Hydraulic gear and steering
- Bow thruster (Lewmar)
- Diesel generator
- 220V and 12V system
- Electric windlass

This is a very special boat for the discerning buyer who wants:
