The Bella 571 Cabin is a boat for people who want to be on the water on more than just sunny days: for families at the weekend as much as for anglers who leave the harbour in early morning fog or in the middle of winter. 5.80 m of length, an enclosed pilothouse with the helm and a seating area inside, an open cockpit aft and a walk-on foredeck with bow rail: a format that works on a warm afternoon just as well as in steady rain or on a cold January morning. Power comes from a Yamaha 60 hp four-stroke outboard with 330 hours. It runs quietly and economically, gets the 1,350 kg hull onto the plane without fuss and is easy to meter when coming alongside or trolling slowly. At the helm you sit behind a wooden wheel, with the Yamaha digital gauge, a windscreen wiper and a Lowrance chartplotter with depth sounder right in your line of sight. It shows depth, water temperature, speed and position: a real advantage for anglers looking for the right spot. The 0.70 m draft opens up the shallower stretches close to shore.

The pilothouse is this boat's real trump card. Sliding doors on both sides, a sliding roof hatch for fresh air and large windows all round so the view of the lake stays open. In rain and cold the doors stay shut and you carry on dry, in autumn and winter just as in summer. Inside you find blue upholstery, wooden locker fronts, teak look floorboards and a forward seating area with a cooker and sink for a hot coffee on a cold morning. The helm seat back folds over, turning the helm into a seat facing aft. Behind it lies the open cockpit with bench seats, stainless steel handrails and a boarding ladder at the transom: here and on the foredeck you have a free hand for rod and net. A full cover protects the boat in the harbour, and navigation lights allow trips at dusk and into the evening.

At just 2.08 m of beam the Bella 571 Cabin fits many berths that wider cabin boats can no longer use, which widens the search for a mooring noticeably. Anyone looking for a solid, manageable boat that can be used all year round and asks for little in return will find the right way in here.
