Deze karaktervolle stalen ketch, ontworpen door Denis Ganley en gebouwd in Nieuw-Zeeland, is een schip voor de serieuze zeiler die droomt van vrijheid, lange passages en nieuwe horizonten.

Lady Summerfield heeft haar kwaliteiten niet alleen op papier bewezen. Ze heeft al meer dan 30.000 zeemijl afgelegd, waaronder oceaanoversteken van de Pacific naar Europa en meerdere Atlantische passages. Ook tijdens de oversteek van de Azoren naar Mallorca heeft ze laten zien wat ze waard is wanneer wind en zee zich van hun krachtige kant laten zien.
