This elegant and classic yacht has undergone a large refit from 2012 until 2023. From 2012/2023 the yacht was technically checked over and foreseen with various updated equipment, as e.g. Raymarine Plotter, coolbox and gas stove 2016. In 2016 a cosmetic overhaul was carried out, with repainting of superstructure and hull. mast, new laid teak decks, re-painted hatches and hardware. The interior woodwork was forseen with a new layer of 2 comp varnish, new ceilings and lightning were installed and new elegant white upholstery was made. 2020/2024: new battteries, transformer and battery charger VICTRON, renewal of all electrical system, new european sockets/outlet; installed original SUUNTO compass (2024), new em-track AIS (with diplexer) (2024), need VHF_DSC_ GPS incorporated (2023), new EPIRB (the smallest one in the European market) (2020). Renewal of all plumbing system: new hose system, new whale pump GUSHER 10, new Whale gusher galley pumps, new fresh water intake, new VETUS holding tank, new mattresses (2024), etc.

Records:

This classic and elegant yacht has been undergone to a constant appraisal of her satisfactory performance as well as a revision and maintenance of all equipment. The strong shipowner’s intention has always been maintain this Baltic 38 DP as true to the original design as possible. Therefore, each Item and system have been renewed with original components or replaced for the original models: Blakes&taylors toylet, seacocks or blakes spares kits; whales’ plumbing, bilge system and fresh water system; Suunto magnetic compass; Navtec Hydraulic boom and backstay; North Sails, Lewmar winches or 2-blade Gori folding propeller.
All files are updated and arranged into 3 comprehensive folders:
i) Yacht maintenance programme covering all yacht’s systems and equipment
ii) The second folder incorporates:
a. invoices, shipyard’s registered and records
b. professional maintenances and detailed work descriptions.
iii) Baltic Yacht specifications: polar curve, stability calculation, Rig calculation, electrical layout, plumbing layout, etc.

General:

Designer: Doug Peterson Shipyard: Baltic Yachts, Finland Hull shape: Round bilged Deck construction: New teak decks, over entire yacht in 2016, Superstructure: Polyester, re-painted in 2016 Windows: New Lexan window's, hatches and sliding hatch entrance. Framework of hatches repainted. Draught: 221 cm Displacement: Approx. 6,500 kg Ballast: Approx. 2,948 kg, lead Steering system: Steering wheel, mechanical transfer Rudder (reviewed 2023 by ): Balanced, spade rudder Keel/Lee board: Fin keel, lead Comments: In 2016 the complete yacht was repainted, with three layers of 2-component paint system of De IJssel coatings. The bottom hull was sanded off until the gelcoat, after which 3 layers of new epoxy were applied, finished with two layers of antifouling. Above all, the complete yacht was fitted with a new teak deck.

In 2016 the interior is fitted with 2 component varnish. Also new ceilings were installed, together with interior lightning. The upholstery was replaced with white sunbrella on the matrasses and in saloon upholstery with artificial leather. New cosy Mattresses in both fore and owner cabins (2022-2024).
