Easy sailing concept, equipped with furling jib and lazyback hatch

This Huitema (self-built) zeeschouw was built in 1978 and equipped with a Farryman diesel engine of 30 HP , a handy ship with a large sailing area. Given the size of the ship she is certainly also good to sail on the Frisian canals and lakes. (Recommended for people with little flat bottom experience), but certainly also seaworthy for the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea in short, an ideal vacation ship.


The scow has had a major refit in the winter of 2022-2023. The engine has been removed and everything in the engine room has been checked and painted. Exterior is completely repainted, all spars bare and repainted. In 2023 this sea scow received a new mainsail and jib with lazyback hood and furling system for jib. New anchor winch, control diesel engine completely overhauled. In 2024 inside hull de-rusted and put in 2 component system, all outboard cranes renewed, interior repainted and varnished and a VHF radio system installed.


The Dolle Dries has been successfully rented out by Platbodem verhuur Friesland since 2006. There is already rental on the Dolle Dries for 2025 and you can keep the Dolle Dries in rental.
