The Ridas 31 is a fantastic racer/cruiser, designed by Dieter Blank and built at the Estonian yard Ridas. This is the racing version (RC) from 2006. For her first years she was used exclusively for racing in Finland, before being sold to Sweden around 2017. Here she has been used more for family sailing, with good sailing characteristics. I have owned her since 2023 but am now selling in order to move on to a new boat.
She is very solidly built and well looked after, with regular servicing and ongoing upgrades. She has a fractional rig with Seldén mast and boom and continuous rod rigging. The inboard engine is a Yanmar 2YM15 (14 hp), which has been serviced annually. The fuel, water and waste tanks are stainless steel. There is an Eberspächer heater with four outlets. In 2023, all of the wiring was gone through with some adjustments, and a new 100 Ah lithium house battery was installed, along with new chargers and a battery monitor. There is a shore power inlet and a solar panel. A VHF radio is fitted, as well as a stereo with speakers in the saloon and the cockpit. In 2025, a new Raymarine EV-200 autopilot with a linear drive unit connected directly to the rudder stock was installed. Halyards, sheets, backstay, mooring lines and fenders were replaced between 2024 and 2026. The navigation equipment consists of a B&G chartplotter and Nexus/Garmin wind instrument and multi-display, centrally placed under the sprayhood above the companionway hatch, plus an extra display on the mast.
The interior is spacious, with a saloon and galley, a forepeak with wardrobes, and an aft cabin with a wardrobe. On the starboard side there is a head with a washbasin. The galley is equipped with a sink, a large fridge, and a gas stove with an oven and two burners. There is plenty of storage space. The interior features many wooden details that are veneered on lightweight material, which keeps the weight down while giving a pleasant feel. Very comfortable and stylish for such a high-performance sailboat.

In addition, there is an older set of North Sails racing sails: mainsail, jib and a larger genoa, all in very good condition. These have been serviced and modified so that they can be hanked onto the forestay.
