For sale is the unique judel/vrolijk 74 Cruiser/Racer NYUMBA, a full carbon one off performance yacht launched in 2018 and now offered after a comprehensive 2026 refit in Bremen.

The jv74 NYUMBA is a modern full carbon high tech Cruiser/Racer, built by Premier Composite Technologies in Dubai and designed by judel/vrolijk & co. She was conceived as a genuine dual purpose yacht, equally suited to fast cruising with a small crew in comfort and to performance sailing with race oriented systems, square top mainsail concept and extended bowsprit.

With her hydraulic lifting keel, NYUMBA combines serious performance under sail with practical cruising capability. In deep draft mode she draws 5.00 m for maximum sailing performance, while the keel can be lifted to 3.30 m, allowing access to shallower anchorages and harbours.

Her exceptionally light displacement of approx. 26.5 t is one of the key features of the design. Combined with carbon Pre Preg construction, a Hall Spars carbon rig, carbon fibre rigging, hydraulic Harken winches and a powerful sail plan, NYUMBA offers a level of performance rarely found in a yacht with this cruising comfort and interior volume.

Below deck, NYUMBA offers a bright and modern lightweight composite interior with three spacious cabins, three heads, a large saloon, proper navigation area, well equipped galley and comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests. A large stern garage accommodates a 4.20 m tender, making the yacht very practical for extended cruising.

Following her extensive 2026 refit in Bremen, NYUMBA presents as a substantially updated and technically refreshed full carbon performance cruiser. The refit included major work and inspection across the yacht’s key systems, including hull and underwater areas, keel, rudder, steering, deck gear, winches, machinery, drivetrain, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical systems, batteries, rig, rigging and sailing systems.

A new Doyle sail package has been ordered as part of the refit, consisting of jib, staysail and pin head mainsail. The electrical system has also been upgraded with modern MG Energy LFP lithium service batteries, providing a total nominal battery capacity of approx. 69.6 kWh.
