HR38, built in 1980, has been owned by the same experienced sailor for the past 26 years, during which she has been carefully upgraded and maintained to remain a reliable and practical cruising yacht rather than simply a classic. The yacht is powered by her original Volvo Penta MD21A engine, which continues to perform reliably, while the gearbox was overhauled in 2016.
