She has just (Dec ’25) completed an Atlantic crossing and is currently cruising in the Eastern Caribbean. The Oceanis 473 has earned a reputation as one of Beneteau’s most successful large cruising designs of the early 2000s, offering a rare blend of interior volume, sailing performance, and robust construction. Designed by Groupe Finot, the 473 remains highly sought after by private cruisers and charter operators alike, thanks to her solid hull, moderate displacement, and practical deck layout that works just as well short-handed as it does with a full crew. One of High Mana’s greatest strengths is her interior layout. The four-cabin, two-head configuration is ideal for families, charter-style cruising, or owners who regularly host guests. Forward are two generous double-berth cabins to port and starboard, each offering excellent storage and natural light. Aft, two additional double cabins provide comfortable accommodations with easy access to the two heads located at the aft end of the saloon. The saloon itself is bright and open, with large hull windows and overhead hatches creating a light and welcoming space. The convertible saloon table allows the main living area to become an additional double berth when needed, making High Mana a true six- to ten-person cruising platform. The galley and navigation station follow Beneteau’s well-proven design philosophy. Storage, refrigeration, and work surfaces are thoughtfully arranged for extended cruising, and the overall interior finish reflects the solid build quality Beneteau was known for during this era.On deck, the Oceanis 473 is known for her comfortable and secure cockpit, wide side decks, and well-thought-out sail handling. Twin helm stations provide excellent visibility and easy access to controls, while the broad stern and swim platform make boarding from a dinghy or swimming at anchor simple and safe. These boats are widely respected for their stable, predictable motion at sea and their ability to cover miles comfortably without feeling overly heavy or sluggish.High Mana has been upgraded with a modern Raymarine electronics suite, including a C95 multifunction display, new radar, AIS, wind and depth instruments, and a reliable autopilot system. These systems are fully networked and designed to support both coastal cruising and offshore passages. A Starlink system provides fast and reliable internet connectivity, making the boat well suited for remote work or long-term cruising in the Caribbean.High Mana is actively being enjoyed and maintained as a proper cruising yacht, not a dock queen. Her current location makes her an ideal option for buyers looking to step straight into a ready-to-go Caribbean boat without the cost and logistics of delivery from North America or Europe. The Beneteau 473 remains one of the most versatile and livable cruising sailboats in the 45- to 50-foot range. With her spacious interior, proven hull design, and comfortable deck layout, High Mana offers an excellent opportunity to own a capable blue-water cruiser that is equally at home island-hopping or heading offshore. For buyers seeking a well-equipped, well-laid-out cruising yacht in a prime cruising location, High Mana deserves serious consideration.Version françaiseHigh Mana est un Beneteau Oceanis 473 de 2003, bien entretenu et éprouvé.
