Bavaria 34 - technically & optically like new

This Bavaria 34 (built in 1988) is not a boat that wears its age - in many areas it exceeds the expectations that one usually has of yachts from the 80s. In family hands for decades, she has been continuously modernized, maintained and optimized. She combines classic design and spacious comfort with modern upgrades that are otherwise only found on much younger yachts.

What makes this ship special

Rig & sails:
Many Bavaria 34s from this era have a standard rig, smaller mainsail and conservative genoa. Not so with this model: with a complete Selden rig from 2016, larger mainsail and 105% genoa, you have significantly better sailing performance compared to older boats.

New keel & stability:
The new keel from X-Yachts with a draft of approx. 1.95 m provides more stability and a better course, even at sea and in stern waves - this is where many original versions lag behind.

Engine & equipment:
While other boats of a similar age struggle with older engines and time-consuming retrofits, this Volvo Penta engine is already modern, economical and low-stress. The folding propeller contributes to efficiency and smooth running.

Comfort & interior:
A comparable boat often shows signs of use, worn upholstery or outdated fittings.
