S/y Toy is historically one of Finland’s most successful 6 Metres. Designed by Gösta Kyntzell, this timeless beauty has built an impressive record of victories and honours over the decades, most notably winning the 6 Metre European Championship in 2002 and the World Championship in 2003. S/y Toy has also won Finnish Championship titles and enjoyed success in various ranking series. While her recent racing record has not quite matched those earlier achievements, the boat and sails have been exceptionally well cared for and are ready for racing. With a competitive crew, Toy has the potential to be a serious contender at the 2027 6 Metre World Championship, held in Helsinki Finland. S/y Toy has been in professional care every winter. She has been varnished almost every year, the hull is in great condition and dry, and she does not leak. The teak deck is in very good condition. There is no deferred maintenance or repair work waiting to be done, so she is ready to go racing again.
