1961 Prototype of Polar 17, EUR 7 500,-

Only one in existence. 1961 Prototype of famous Polar 17 by Norwegian Polarplast AS. Same basic design with fiberglass hull and mahogany deck, but 3 feet shorter and with a 3" hull step. Fully restored with reinforced hull structures, new horizontal deck parts made of mahogany plywood. Window frames are original Honduras mahogany hardwood. The motor is almost as rare. Restored 1962 Mercury Merc 500 with electric start and original Mercury single-lever remote control. Painted in original cloud white color, with correct stickers added. Shaft extension kit installed. Comes with original Finnish-language owners manual. Never been in seawater, only in Lake Nasijarvi since new.

Will probably end up in a museum, but it sure is fun to take on a lake (see video). Elvis' boat Gladys is in his Graceland museum, this Priscilla is more Elvis-style than that.
