Princess V50 Open 2005 "Poco Loco" — Fully Refitted 2024/25

The deep V-hull, the raw silhouette, 1,430 horsepower… everything that made the V50 one of the most sought-after sports cruisers of her generation remains completely untouched. Everything else has changed.

Since 2021, this V50 has received continuous, documented investment from a single owner, culminating in a full refit by Stockholm Yacht during the winter of 2024/25 were navigation, electrics, interior and exterior, essentially every system and space from bow to stern, updated, restored, or replaced.
The result is a boat where a 20-year-old soul meets today's technology and design, a combination that's genuinely hard to find anywhere else on the market right now.


Exterior:
Poco Loco carries a raw, sporty silhouette that her hardtop sister ships simply can't match with no fixed roof, just a sharply raked windscreen and a stern that sweeps down toward the water.
The new pearl-grey wrap on the hull and targa catches the light along the sweeping hull line, while the soft sunshade keeps the true sports-boat feeling intact.
Twin Volvo Penta D12 engines (715 hp each) deliver a top speed of 34 knots that proofs that the looks aren't just for show.


Helm:
The helm hasn't just received new instruments, Stockholm Yacht redesigned the entire driving environment.
The new matte grey and black panel gives a cohesive, modern impression where every detail feels considered rather than added on. A 16" Raymarine Axiom plotter sits centre stage, flanked by three i70s instruments for speed, heading and depth.
Beyond the joystick, a Dockmate remote docking system lets you manoeuvre the entire boat single-handed, no need to rely on anyone else on board.


Cockpit:
The cockpit is truly where life happens on board. Spending a warm summer day here in good company with the sun, sea and archipelago all around you is simply a privilege.
The generous sunpad aft, above the swim platform, invites hours of sun and swimming straight off the boat, and the wetbar keeps cold drinks close at hand and makes it easy to prepare something good without ever leaving the company.

With the cockpit enclosure up the cockpit becomes a cosy room in its own right just perfect for a long dinner around the table, sheltered from wind and weather but still right in the middle of the archipelago.


Salon & Galley:
Traditional dark, high-gloss joinery meets modern, light textiles here, creating a uniquely warm atmosphere where classic meets new, where a country club meets a modern hotel.
Even though the cockpit is the central gathering place, the salon has a soul of its own that makes it a wonderful place to be.

All thanks to the extensive refit, you'll find a new Alcantara headliner with integrated accent lighting, a new countertop, reupholstered seating, and new carpets that tie it all together. This is a room that stays true to her heritage while receiving new life.


Owner's Cabin:
The same atmosphere from the salon continues here with high-gloss dark wood in warm contrast with light, soft textiles, a combination that feels as homely as it does elegant.

Light falls softly through the overhead hatch above the bed, giving the room a calm, relaxed feel regardless of the hour.

The large bed dominates the cabin while still leaving generous space to move around.
Storage in the form of well-designed overhead lockers and wardrobes blends naturally into the cabin's layout, offering ample space for everything.
he en-suite bathroom is bright and airy, with a separate shower cabin for the highest possible comfort.


Guest Cabin:
Amidships, between the salon and owner's cabin, lies the guest cabin with two separate berths, a feature many buyers appreciate, whether it's siblings, friends, or adult children on board.
This cabin also has its own bathroom, giving guests their own space without compromising the rest of the group's comfort.


Engine & Service:
Poco Loco has been stored in a heated hall every winter since 2021 for the first years on the Swedish east coast, and since autumn 2025 at Karlans on the west coast.
The engines have been serviced continuously according to Volvo Penta's service intervals, always by a marine technician, with full documentation available.
The high standard of care shows in the details too: the turbochargers were replaced in 2022, and ahead of this season the heat exchangers were cleaned and the gearboxes overhauled.
